Thank you for caring and visiting

Lindsay is a recent Virginia Commonwealth University graduate who suffered severe and debilitating complications following surgery for Crohn’s disease, resulting in quadruple amputations. Initially hospitalized on August 3, 2007 she remained in intensive care until early December, when she was moved to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore to begin rehabilitative therapy. She has since returned to Richmond to continue her therapy and recuperation among friends and family. Lindsay’s medical expenses far exceed insurance coverage. Love of Lindsay has been created by friends of Lindsay to accept donations to help cover these costs. Donations of all sizes are deeply appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and support.

  2. If construction plans are still in the works, please have someone contact me. We sell roofing materials & insulation- we will donate those products for the addition. My company Commonwealth Wholesale in in the Hanover Industrial Park, I am quite well known , I am very involved in community programs. My heart goes out to you Lindsay. I will get a letter off to you, I have daughters older than you, but I have lost all use of my lower body and now the arms & hands are going – I’m in a powerchair I can relate – a little. But there is so much more in life – every day is a gift. If there is a way I might support you, please let me know.

  3. I’ve just met you and, I must say, from a perspective of dealing with my own disablity, looking at you, seeing you for who you are, I am pleased to know you. You are honest, thought-filled and open to what life brings your way. You are absolutely beautiful and rich with what life is all about – living and taking in the experience.

I look forward to getting to know you and enjoying a friendship that brings comfort to me knowing that you can understand some of the struggles that are not so obvious to others.

Without question, should you want or need anything, it would be an honor – and frankly, a welcomed event – if you could use my hands.

    Your friend,
    Pamela
